Dr. Zach Smith, DVM

Dr. Smith studied at Ross University in the Caribbean and went to Iowa State for his clinicals. In Dr. Smith's 6 years in vet med, he found that his passion is surgery, specifically bone and soft tissue surgery. Aside from surgery, he enjoys the diversity of cases that he sees here at Sparta Animal Clinic. 

When not practicing medicine, he spends his spare time playing volleyball, skiing, traveling and doing CrossFit with his family - his two sons Zephan and Azaiah and his high school sweetheart, Sierra. Dr. Smith's best friend is Bear, his Rottweiler, who loves everyone he meets.
